Statement of Faith

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.

Through Him all things were made. For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit He became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.

All mankind are sinners, inherently from Adam and individually (by choice) and are therefore subject to God’s wrath and condemnation consisting of death and casting into the lake of fire for all eternity future.

Man's ONLY hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ. This causes us to enter the family of God by an experience called the "New Birth" as Jesus taught Nicodemus.

That while we were yet sinners, Jesus was crucified thereby undergoing a substitutionary death on the cross in your stead and in mine as He died our death in atonement for our sins to satisfy God’s righteousness;

That for anyone who believes this, He grants eternal life with HIM in heaven;

That for all who chose not to believe, will have to meet God’s perfect standards without Him which is impossible;

That they will thereby be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Those who do not believe in Christ are subject to everlasting conscious punishment, but believers enjoy eternal life with God.

Salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Christ alone and expressed in the individual’s repentance, recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as Saviour, Lord and God.

Under Pontius Pilate Jesus was so crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Abraham’s Bosom; On the third day He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father. We believe in the Lord's rapture of His Church off the face of this earth before the coming Great Tribulation.

With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy universal living Church. We acknowledge baptism of the Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

We believe in satan, that those cast into the lake of fire will burn there for all eternity and not ever be consumed thereby remaining in fire and separated from God forever. Satan is the personal spiritual adversary of both God and man.

We believe that all of scripture in the 66 books of the bible are God breathed and as such are the inerrant Word of God, that Jesus IS the Word of God.

Freedom from the penalty and power of sin is available to man only through the sacrificial death and shed blood of Jesus Christ, and His complete and bodily Resurrection from the dead.

All things necessary for our salvation are set down in Scripture.

The Holy Spirit lives and works in each believer to produce the fruits of righteousness.
